I am a Penn State graduate with a BA in print journalism, who is working to become a well-rounded journalist capable of multitasking and producing award-winning still photos and multimedia work.

At Penn State I learned to gather photos, natural sound, and video to create multimedia projects using Final Cut Express and SoundSlides. I also worked on team projects, produced other students' multimedia assignments and worked as a digital media lab assistant.

After graduation I became a part-time staff photographer for the Centre Daily Times, where I am gaining newsroom experience and am required to shoot both video and photo assignments, edit, caption, and upload my work to the Web within strict deadlines. A coworker and I also write a monthly column about saving money.
