As a sophomore, Tamara interned with Voices of Central Pennsylvania as a print reporter. As a reporter, she wrote on issues concerning the University and the surrounding communities. After her internship, she continued to write for the monthly paper as a volunteer, and later interned with the publication again as a section editor. Tamara has also interned with Gateway Newspapers in Pittsburgh.
