Year: Senior

During my college career I was able to find what I love, but it did not come easy. As a broadcast journalism major at Penn state I was able to work with the Centre County Report and WPSU. My junior year I was awarded an internship at dateline NBC and NBC's next media digital production company in 30 Rock NYC. My senior year I focused on digital journalism and found my passion.

These opportunities helped me finish my college career in June 2009 with a strong foundation upon which to enter into the journalism industry. As a gradute today I can say that there is no easy path towards success as a journalist. With hard work, dedication and of course a little luck, your efforts will be rewarded. Never settle for less than your best and always push your self to be a better journalist than you were yesterday. When you can do that, you will find what you love.
